A Junior is a DAR member, aged 18 - 35 (until her 36th birthday). She holds full DAR membership, and when qualified, may serve as an officer and chairman at the national, state, and chapter levels. She may page at state conference and Continental Congress until her 41st birthday. Fielding Lewis' Juniors include
mothers, a professional photographer, students, an award-winning blogger, costume designer, hairstylist/makeup artist, an operations specialist in the U.S. Coast Guard, teachers, a director of marketing, and other professionals. Juniorsare a dynamic mix of young, energetic women who balance work, family, community service and love of their country.
It is very special to join the DAR as a young woman and to be able to spend so much of one's life serving God, Home, and Country and honoring one's Revolutionary War patriot(s). And as such, women who join the DAR as a Junior are honored by wearing the Junior pin on their insignia for the rest of their lives. Our chapter's Juniors consist of college students, full-time mothers, and professionals.
The Fielding Lewis Juniors have various fundraising projects throughout the year that support the DAR schools and Georgia Junior projects. We also have monthly get-togethers, with invitations open to all chapter members.
Our Juniors Are Making A Difference!
A warm thank you to NSDAR Junior members from the Crossnore School.
