Meadow Garden

The Historic Home of George Walton

George Walton (1749-1804) was a Georgia Delegate at the Continental Congress and one of three Georgians to sign the Declaration of Independence. Walton was also one of the youngest signers of the Declaration of Independence. His home, Meadow Garden, is located in Augusta, Georgia.

The Georgia State Society NSDAR is proud to own and maintain Meadow Garden. Fielding Lewis Chapter, NSDAR members volunteer at Meadow Garden every year to help preserve this piece of history for all to enjoy.

 

Tours of the historic house and museum are available.
